Our anti-rust oil products have formed a scale, the annual output has been more than 20,000 t, but can not meet the needs of users in terms of product quality and variety. The main problem of domestic anti-rust products is that the anti-corrosion effect of anti-rust oil is not ideal during the preservation of iron and steel products, and the oil layer is too thick, which seriously affects the appearance. After the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" and "Seventh Five-Year Plan", we now have a batch of anti-rust materials equivalent to the US army's P series and Japan's NP series. On this basis, our own anti-rust material series has been initially formed. Most of the factories and industries has developed in line with the industry and the actual situation of the factory and effective rust control process regulations and rust control management system, some are more advanced. And self-made or introduced a number of cleaning, rust-proof, packaging production lines. There are a number of manufacturers of anti-rust process equipment and can produce in line with the standard requirements of the testing equipment manufacturers. The petrochemical and light industry systems are mainly formulated for product and test method standards, and the mechanical systems are mainly formulated for technology and basic standards.

The development of rust prevention technology is unbalanced, and the rust prevention technology of large and medium-sized factories is common. The industry development is unbalanced, bearing, measuring tools, machine tools, automobile and heavy machinery industry rust prevention level is high, and the introduction or development of a number of advanced rust prevention technology and management methods; The rust prevention technology of agricultural machinery, general spare parts, mining machinery and construction machinery, large plate, ring, strip and other industries is still relatively backward. The research and development of anti-rust packaging technology of large equipment has not been paid enough attention. Compared with the advanced industrial countries, the gap is relatively large, mainly reflected in the automation of rust-proof packaging and material quality control automation. It is necessary to strengthen the development of complete sets of equipment, rapid and accurate test methods and equipment for automatic rust prevention process. At present, in terms of the rust prevention process between domestic processes, 60% ~ 70% is manual operation, 30% ~ 40% is semi-automatic, equivalent to the advanced countries in the late 1960s and early 1970s. At present, the United States, Japan, Germany and other countries have developed to the closed computer control automatic line of anti-rust packaging process and equipment, nearly 90% of the use of single machine cleaning, drying, anti-dryness, anti-rust and packaging. In terms of the product anti-rust packaging technology equipment, 20% ~ 30% of the single machine cleaning, oil removal, there is no fully closed automatic production line. In recent years, although some automatic production lines have been installed and used in the bearing, measuring tools and automobile industry, such as bearing feeding, demagnetization, cleaning, drying and oiling automation lines, the level is relatively different from that of advanced countries.
