Tolyltriazole is a Benzotriazole (BTA) derivative and is used as a corrosion inhibitor for copper and its alloys, such as brass. it is a mixture of 4-methyl-benzotriazole and 5-methyl benzotriazole, the melting point is from 83℃ to 86℃,
Appearance: yellow to off-white granule, powder.
Tolyltriazole solubility: TTA is soluble in alcohol, benzene, toluene, chloroform, and watery lye, and hardly soluble in water.
