Low-base alkyl salicylic acid detergent has low ash content, and has a good synergistic effect with high-base value sulfurized alkylphenol detergent, and can be used to blend low ash internal combustion engine oil.
High-base alkyl salicylate has good detergency, strong acid neutralization ability, stability at high temperatures, and certain anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties. It is suitable for various gasoline and diesel engine oils when compounded with other lubricant additives.
Compared with Sulfurized Alkyl Phenates, it has stronger detergency, but poorer anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties.
