Introduction
Polyisobutylene Succinic Anhydride (PIBSA) is derived from Highly Reactive Polyisobutylene(HR-PIB) by a thermal addition process.
PIBSA is an amber viscous liquid that has no chloride and a high purity of active content.

- PIBSA is a precursor to produce Polyisobutylene Succinimide(PIBSI), which is the mainstream ashless dispersant in lubricating oils.
- PIBSA is also widely used as a polymer emulsifier for explosives in the mining industry.
- PIBSA is an emulsifier for metalworking.
