It is obtained by reacting with phenol and phosphorus trichloride through sulfurization, neutralization, washing and crystallization. It is widely used in lubricants, esters, etc. Adding a small amount of this additive can improve its extreme pressure, anti-wear, anti-oxidation, hydrolytic stability, and anti-emulsification.
TPPT = O,O,O-Triphenylphosphorothioate
Due to the environmental and health risks of TPPT, it is not allowed to use this type of lubricant additive in some regions.
