Introduction
CHORUS offers double-capped polyalkylene glycol (PAG) for automotive air-conditioning compressor Oils (AC refrigerant oils).
Synthetic Poly Alkylene Glycol (PAG) base oil with a double-capped structure, specifically designed for refrigeration applications, e.g., automotive air-conditioning compressors with HFC refrigerants (R-134a, R-404a, R-410a, and R-407c), and Hydro fluoro olefins (HFO) refrigerants(R-1234yf).

Excellent miscibility with R-134a and good miscibility with various HFC, HFO refrigerants, including R-404A, R-410A, R-407C, and R-1234yf.

Excellent hydrolytic stability, reduced hygroscopicity compared to uncapped PAGs, minimizing potential issues associated with ice formation in capillary tubes and moisture-induced degradation.

High Viscosity Index (VI): Ensures the formation of a stable lubricating film at elevated temperatures to protect against wear. And, it's relatively lower viscosity promotes superior fluidity and refrigerant miscibility during cold starts.

Enhanced thermal & oxidative stability, even under conditions of high temperature and high humidity.

Excellent miscibility with R-134a and other refrigerants across a wide operating temperature range. Miscibility temperature bands typically span from -60°C to 0°C and from 0°C to 80°C.
